About Noosa
Noosa Heads better known as Noosa, sits at the most northern end of the Noosa National Park. Noosa is famous for it's many Food, Wine & Musical Events.
This cosmopolitan tourist hub sits on the northern end of the Sunshine Coast which gives it a relaxing sub-tropical climate most the year round.
Noosa sits in a northerly position looking out over famous Laguna Bay to the Coral Sea. The Noosa River which once flowed through an unreliable entrance to the Coral Sea at the north western end of Noosa Main Beach is now limited in its annual sand movements.
Location
The town of Noosa Heads is 165 kms north of Brisbane. Our closest major airport is Sunshine Coast Airport at Maroochydoore, 30 minutes drive south of Noosa. There are direct flights from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Brisbane Airport is just over 1.5 hours away by car or bus. Regular Airport transfer bus services operate from both Brisbane Airport and Sunshine Coast Airport.
